Aksaray University (ASU) Rector Prof. Dr. Alpay Arıbaş and ASU International Relations Coordinator Prof. Dr. Melayib Bilgin carried out a visit to Moldova within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA171 ICM Mobility Program. During their visit, Rector Arıbaş and Coordinator Bilgin paid a courtesy visit to the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Komrat, Adnan Hayal. During the visit, cultural and academic relations between Türkiye and Moldova were discussed. ASU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpay Arıbaş shared information about the university's internationalization vision and stated that they are exploring cooperation opportunities with universities in Moldova.
Friendship Ties Between the Two Countries Will Be Strengthened
The Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Komrat, Adnan Hayal, expressed his satisfaction with the visit and emphasized his belief that inter-university collaborations would contribute to further strengthening the friendship and cultural ties between the two countries.
During the meeting, Aksaray University Foreign Relations Coordinator Prof. Dr. Melayib Bilgin, as well as Dr. Kudret Safa Gümüş and Lecturer Deniz Gümüş—who were appointed to the Faculty of National Culture at Moldova-Komrat State University under the auspices of the Educational Counsellor’s Office of the Turkish Embassy in Chișinău—were also present.
The visit concluded with mutual expressions of goodwill.
