On April 18, 2024, our Department of Foreign Relations organized an informative meeting for the staff of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine to introduce the Capacity Building Program in Higher Education, which aims to enhance cooperation between European Union member states, countries participating in the Erasmus+ program, and third-country group countries not participating in the Erasmus+ program, as well as to modernize higher education institutions and improve the quality of education.

Professor Dr. Melayib Bilgin, the Coordinator of Foreign Relations, expressed that the Capacity Building Program in Higher Education could contribute significantly to both Aksaray University and other participating higher education institutions in the fields of innovation, digital transformation, sustainability, and employment.

Professor Dr. Tahir Karaşahin, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, stated that participating in this project would greatly benefit the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and they would start forming working groups to support the project as soon as possible.
