Prof. Dr. Hasan Özcan, a faculty member of the Faculty of Education, conducted scientific studies as a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Natural Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires within the scope of the Erasmus KA171 project.
Regarding his visit: Prof. Özcan stated that they have been conducting scientific studies on STEM Education, Philosophy of Science and Teacher Training with Prof. Dr. Agustin Aduriz-Bravo for approximately 10 years, and expressed that they had the opportunity to meet and work face to face again at an international conference held in Cappadocia last year and at the University of Buenos Aires 5 months ago, and indicated that they have completed, ongoing and newly planned studies.
Prof. Özcan, who also conducted examinations in different units and laboratories of the University of Buenos Aires, which is ranked among the top 100 universities in the world by many ranking organizations, met with the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Natural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Guillermo Durán, Vice Dean Assoc. Valeria Levi also visited Ana Maria Magalhaes de Carvalho, Head of the International Relations Unit, and Miriam González, Secretary of the Institutional Relations Unit. In memory of the visit, Prof. Özcan was presented with a coin specially minted for the 200th anniversary of the University of Buenos Aires. Prof. Özcan also presented the triangular fringed flag of Aksaray University and various gifts.
Stating that they shared information about Aksaray University and exchanged ideas about new collaborations during the visit, Prof. Özcan added that he invited his guests to Aksaray University. This visit, which took place within the scope of the KA171 project carried out by the Aksaray University External Relations Coordination, is considered an important part of the university's vision to strengthen international collaborations.
